We have been building web sites for eleven years, and over that time have gained an incredible amount of experience of all types of builds and design issues.

Customers who've come to us from other firms frequently complain about projects not being delivered on time, or to budget. And they complain of sites that are less than what they expected in terms of functionality or design.

We believe that there is a huge amount of arrogance in the web design industry. For some reason web designers think they can get away with late delivery, ever-extending deadlines, budgets that increase without warning and other horrors. Would any other business get away with messing it's customers around like this? We don't think so.

We have invested in developing systems and processes that ensure on-time delivery, fixed prices that never increase, and precise adherence to your specifications. It hasn't been easy. But is has been worth it.

We're so confident that we can deliver on time, on budget, to spec and to your complete satisfaction that we have introduced this simple and honest guarantee.

"If we should fail to deliver a piece of work on time,
fail to deliver at the exact price quoted,
or fail to deliver to your exact specification and design,
we will refund all the money you've paid us on that piece of work immediately. "

How can we offer this guarantee?

We're able to offer this guarantee by rigorous examination of your business needs prior to starting work, careful questioning to find out exactly what you need and expect, accurate documentation, realistic timetabling, careful explanations of what we're going to do, continuous contact with you throughout the work, formal sign offs from you at every stage, and other techniques. Some people call this "due diligence".

Is there any small print?

There really isn't any small print except the following:

  1. The guarantee applies to work that is covered by an individual Statement of Work produced by us in collaboration with you, and applies to all new work commissioned after the launch of the guarantee (15-Jun-2003).
     
  2. When we are scheduling and timetabling work we will agree with you the dates on which you must deliver your copy, images, approvals, sign offs etc. If you don't deliver these things on time we can't offer the guarantee.

How to claim on the guarantee

Obviously we don't think you'll ever claim on it. But if you do, all you need to do is let us know where we went wrong and we will arrange a bank transfer of all funds paid to us on the day of notification.

We don't expect to have to make many refunds. But should we need to we'll do so with good grace and without and fuss or quibbling. If we lose money, so be it - we will have learned an invaluable lesson.
